Sky's moods ( poem )

Blindingly bright
Shimmers of blue
Fluffy white sensations
Mixed colours, mixed emotions
Grey breaking the barrier of the blue
Dark as night rain clouds

A tessellation is a repeating pattern that has no gaps.

The shapes I have tessellated are: hexagons, stars and diamonds.

I have tessellated them by: reflection.

My hopes and dreams flags.

On Wednesday, two art teachers from the christchurch art gallery came to take us for a very cool art lesson. Firstly Room 6 sat down and they told us what we were doing for the day. After we talked we each received a piece of fabric and went to a table that had black paint. In the end I got two pieces by some people got three.




My flag symbolises my community, to make its brighter by planting more flowers.
The best part about my flag is the design of my flowers.
If I would change anything it would be to make my small flowers stand out more and make them a little bigger.




My flag symbolises the strength of Christchurch and how we have been strong throughout our hard time.
My best part about the flag is EVERYTHING!
I wouldn't want to change anything I think that my flag turned out how I wanted it to.

NYLD ( national young leaders day )

There I was strolling with all my classmates into a huge black room with hundreds of seats and people from a different range of schools running around and greeting all kinds of different people.As we all sat down with our booklet and pen I got all nervous and felt a pounding in my stomach but at the same time I was super exited and ready for the NYLD to start. When the hosts came up to us and said " hey guys are you ready start " everyone was screaming and super energetic. As four speakers came on and off the stage
