Term 1 goal reflections

To use comma and apostrophes with confidence:
I have been achiving this goal by reading my work to my buddy,reading out loud to myself and also keeping an eye out for really long sentaces.

To add and subtract decimals that include tenths, hundredths, thousandths:
I have deffinatly achived this goal because i have learned different starategies and and have been practicing new strategies lot more.

work hard in all my studies to try and achive the academic cup at the end of the year:
I have been trying hard alot more in tests and focusing more in my classroom.


I know that I have archived my commas and decimal goals.I am still working on my apostrophes and my academic goal will be my goal for the year. :)

Team work

"Sophie can you please go into the space group " said Miss Shinn on the 26 of march. Today the amazing Room 6 got a specific job to do with our dull looking garden. My awesome and unique team were working on the spacing part of our garden. We decided to grow a plant no longer than 1.64 meters, and also to space out we're the plants will go.

Our ideas were great but with everyone's unique ideas and suggestions we will have a colourful looking garden

My first day of school

When I was just 5 years old I had my first experience at a big red Primary school called Burnham.When I took my first step into the classroom I felt warm and welcomed like I have been here already.Straight away people wanted to be my friend but I had already had one special friend called Nakesha. My teacher was called Mrs Burlingson, Mrs Burlingson was a nice fun teacher that always helped me whenever I was stuck. At my first lunch break I played in this cool green fort. It had two fireman poles well, that's what I called the sliding pole,a tunnel and this really cool slide. when the bell went I was stuck up the top of the fort not knowing what the bell ment, but then Nakesha said that it ment to go to class. When I got back to my class Mrs Burlingson took us up to the top of the fort and we got one parachute each mine was the best. Then after school mum talked to Mrs Burlingson. After that I said I had the best day and couldn't wait till tomorrow.

The wonderful me

Kia ora my name is Sophie  and what you are going to read is an a amazing story of my unique life. First of all I am 12 years old and was born in the Christchurch hospital by my Mum Angela . I have got four amazing sisters Renee, Calsea, Abbey, Courtenay and myself. plus I have got one cool sporty brother Sam, I have also got a hansom little nephew called Kordae. Also my dad Robert  also know as Lockie. When I was two years old I enjoyed my first day in the snow but I hated the snowman so much I cried. Now I go to an amazing school and have heaps of awesome friends called Sophie, Breanna, Thomas, Dominic, Rebekah, Taleah, Isabell, Didi and Reece. My hobbies are Sport ( mostly netball ) Reading and cooking. I have got two dogs called Izzi witch it a black Labrador and a little white dog called Emjay and he is a Bechion Chihahua. I am really good at netball for the last 2 years I have gotten player of the year from my netball coaches.
